DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Become part of SECO Northern Europe. We are a team of around 190 employees at our locations in Hamburg, Wuppertal and Stuttgart. Together we develop and produce state-of-the-art technological solutions, from miniaturised computers to fully customised integrated systems combining hardware and software.

You will...

  • Continuous Integration: You implement Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for Linux BSPs wit Yocto on GitLab and Docker. Your goal is to create seamless integration and efficient workflows.
  • Automation: With your know-how in Python or a similar scripting language, you automate multi-project environments via the GitLab API. You will design integration commits that efficiently support the development process within the team.
  • Test systems: You will be responsible for commissioning and maintaining an automated test system for embedded systems using LAVA to ensure high quality of our products.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You will set up powerful Linux servers in the development team using Ansible or comparable Infrastructure as Code tools. Your focus is on reliability, scalability and security.

What you ideally bring with you...

  • Experience in implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools.
  • Sound knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Python
  • Experience with Linux servers and infrastructure as code, ideally with Ansible
  • Understanding of embedded systems and experience with automated test systems, preferably LAVA
  • Ability to work in a team, innovative spirit and the ability to work efficiently in an agile environment
